Disturbing Video Leaked of Ohio High School Students Joking About Alleged Gang Rape

"They raped her harder than that cop raped Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction."

Editor's note: This post contains an extremely graphic and disturbing video as well as language and photos that many readers will find offensive.

A gut-wrenching video released by an Anonymous cell known as "KnightSec" appears to show a group of high school students joking and laughing about an instance of alleged rape that reportedly occurred in Steubenville, Ohio in August 2012.

The extremely disturbing 12-minute video was posted online Tuesday by KnightSec and is reportedly being reviewed by the Steubenville Police Department and the Ohio Attorney General's Office.

Last month, the New York Times published a detailed report on an alleged gang rape in the small Ohio football town of Steubenville. Two Steubenville football players, Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond were arrested on Aug. 22 in connection with the alleged rape, Deadspin previously reported. Months later, exactly what happened that night is still unclear. Few witnesses have come forward to discuss what happened to the unknown girl, who alleges she was assaulted and photographed by athletes from Steubenville High.

In the newly released video, a male, identified by a number of media outlets as former Steubenville High School student and baseball player Michael Nodianos, seems to talk about an instance of rape and other disturbing events surrounding the incident.

"They raped her more than the Duke lacrosse team," Nodianos says in the video, later adding that "It isn't really rape because you don't know if she wanted to or not."

The former student also jokes extensively about how "dead" the unknown female is. She's "deader than" Trayvon Martin, he said.

Deadspin provides a compilation of other disgusting quotes from the video (Warning! Graphic content):

• "He's puttin' a wang in the butthole, dude."

• "They peed on her. That's how you know she's dead, because someone pissed on her."

• "They raped her harder than that cop raped Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction."

• "They raped her quicker than Mike Tyson raped that one girl."

• "They raped her more than the Duke lacrosse team."

• "Her pu** is about as dry as the sun right now."

"At one point, a voice belonging to someone off-camera says, 'Trent and Ma'lik raped someone.' The two boys charged in the rape are Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond," Deadspin reports.

While it is unknown how many other people were present when the video was shot, not all the males in the room took rape as lightly as the ones joking about it.

"What if that was your daughter?" one of them asks in the video.

"But it isn't," the male identified as Nodianos replies bluntly.

As Business Insider notes, the hacker group KnightSec also released information on the town sheriff and the rape suspects. The group says the town is "rife with corruption, cronyism, illegal gambling and fixated upon their star high school football team."

The New York Times and the Atlantic Wire have reported that many people in Steubenville have rallied around the football team and blamed the unknown alleged rape victim for making up the story.

The Atlantic Wire recently published a photo, released by Anonymous, of the girl being carried around while allegedly unconscious by her alleged attackers.

"The idea that a rape victim made up her story is still floating around, despite photos of the girl being carried around while allegedly unconscious by her alleged attackers," the Atlantic Wire reported.

Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty released the following statement regarding the video on Wednesday:

The Steubenville police department has been aware of this recent video that was released. Since late August 2012 the subject who made the video was interviewed. This has all been turned over to the prosecutors which are the Ohio Attorney Generals Office, who is prosecuting this case. It's always been the policy of the Steubenville Police Department not to make comments on details of a case prior to it going to trial. I know this is frustrating for some. I can't change that now, as you know this is a high profile case and for the parties interested I believe I should not make a comment on it because I can't make a comment on it. It's being handled by an outside agency
