Watch: North Korean radio station reportedly hacked to play this ‘80s hit on repeat

A radio station in Pyongyang was reportedly forced to play rock hit “The Final Countdown” after an unidentified hacker took control of it last week. Twitter users noticed the odd discrepancy when North Korean radio station 6400kHz started playing the classic '80s song by the band Europe.

A Twitter user that goes by “The Jester” and is known for hacking jihadist websites publicized the news with a tweet, although another account seems to have pointed out the hack earlier.

“In a world where we seem to be afraid of everything and we have reason to be afraid of North Korea’s instability, it’s kind of nice to just sit back and laugh at them for a minute,” Glenn said on today's show.

North Korea is under severe UN sanctions after leader Kim Jong Un repeatedly threatened the U.S. and its allies with nuclear war, conducting multiple missile tests in the past year.

To see more from Glenn, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “The Glenn Beck Radio Program” with Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere and weekdays 9 a.m.–noon ET on TheBlaze Radio Network.
