Watch: Guess what new trend is making funeral services just a little easier

A Southern Indiana funeral home is joining a trend that makes a wake a bit more of a celebratory occasion: serving wine, beer and liquor.

Scott Funeral Home just got its liquor license, and owner Aaron Scott says the decision was about a growing trend toward celebrating life in a funeral setting. An open bar is an option for visitations the night before a funeral or time with friends and family before the funeral service.

"You've always heard people say, don't cry for me," Scott told WDRB.com. "Don't come in and do a somber funeral. Celebrate my life or throw a party for me. This is kind of our way to it."
