Watch: Christian filmmakers share ‘incredible’ backstory behind ‘Let There Be Light’

Filmmaking couple Kevin and Sam Sorbo shared the journey that led to their latest movie, “Let There Be Light,” on today’s show.  Sam Sorbo first came up with the movie idea and reached out to a screenwriter to flesh it out into a script.

“The genesis of the movie’s pretty incredible,” she said.

Through an amazing sequence of events, “Let There Be Light” became a reality. Centered on an atheist who has a change of heart, the movie is opening in theaters around the country this weekend. Both of the Sorbos star in the film, and Kevin Sorbo directed.
