Glenn: GOP leaders are lying about the new health care bill

GOP leadership seems to be lying about the new Senate health care bill because they want progressive health insurance in America, Glenn Beck said on Tuesday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”

“They do want single-payer health care,” Glenn said of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other GOP leaders. “They want control of this, and they don’t mind squeezing you to get universal health care.”

Glenn said the debate came down to one question: Do you believe McConnell, or do you believe Sens. Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and others who have objected to the new health care bill because it’s not a true repeal of the Affordable Care Act?

GOP leadership appears to be trying to run down the clock in order to shove through the Senate health care plan, which keeps most of Obamacare’s premium subsidies and does not provide waivers allowing states to opt out of covering people with pre-existing conditions.
