Joe Rogan perfectly explains how our academic institutions have fallen

How do you slowly but surely turn the political and social tides of an entire nation? The Soviet Union figured out that this was possible via persistent indoctrination at the educational level — or in Joe Rogan’s words:

“You infect the kids with Marxism and Leninism in the universities and then you indoctrinate them to these ideas and then they go off and slowly start to seep into the workplace. And over the course of several generations, you completely diminish their confidence in democracy and what they think about America.”

Well said.

“That kind of sounds like what has happened here in America,” Dave Rubin tells guests Jeffrey Tucker and Ronald Coleman.

“We’ve been hearing about this [educational indoctrination] for decades, but I was a little bit dismissive of it in the past, thinking, ‘Well, who cares what goes on at Harvard and Yale and Princeton?’” Tucker explains. “I’ve been a little bit taken aback over the last several years just to see the invasion of ... society by people who have been indoctrinated in extremist, woke ideology.”

“They’ve been denied access to the Western canon,” he continues, “so it’s not so much the presence of woke theory and destructive ideology itself but the complete absence of anything else,” such as “enlightenment thought” or “serious literature” because “all the great books have been blasted away in the 21st Century.”
