Ron DeSantis LASHES OUT at Fauci: 'They don't get to just run wild and do whatever the hell they want with our tax dollars'

On "The Rubin Report," BlazeTV host Dave Rubin talked about Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis' epic takedown of Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Joe Biden continuing to spread COVID-19 misinformation, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) blaming police for the Minneapolis crime spike, and an embarrassing video of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) seemingly trying to lose the gubernatorial election.

First, Dave discussed Gov. DeSantis' response to the latest scandal engulfing Anthony Fauci. DeSantis demanded that Fauci be held accountable for the National Institute of Health's alleged funding of gain-of-function research and brutal animal testing on puppies.

"Fauci needs to be held accountable," DeSantis stated. "These bureaucrats, they don't get to just run wild and do whatever the hell they want with our tax dollars. And so, from funding gain of function research, to treating these puppies with really unimaginable cruelty, I think that the whole lot of them need to be cleaned out and we need to be standing up for the American taxpayer and doing things ethically and not doing things like gain of function research. And certainly not abusing puppies."

Next, Rubin reacted to President Biden's continued spread of disinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine. Biden has made the repeatedly debunked claim that people can't get COVID-19 after receiving the vaccine.

The FDA has also given approval for the COVID vaccine for kids between the ages of 5-11. Dave shared a clip of the FDA approval meeting that may not engender trust in their process.

Next, Rep. Ilhan Omar, who was a big proponent of the "defund the police" movement, is apparently surprised by the rise in crime in Minneapolis. Don't worry, though, she knows who's at fault: the police. Omar stunningly failed to connect the dots between lowering police funding and a rise in Minneapolis crime.

Finally, Dave shared a simply embarrassing clip from the Virginia governor race between Terry McAuliffe and Glenn Youngkin. The clip makes one wonder if the Democrats are trying to lose.
