Will Fani Willis affair increase the chances of a Trump victory?

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who’s leading the prosecution against Donald Trump in Georgia, has found herself in deep trouble after she was accused of hiring a romantic partner, a married man named Nathan Wade, to prosecute Trump. Willis was also accused of accompanying Wade on lavish vacations allegedly funded by taxpayer dollars and for financially benefiting from the affair.

Now the already complicated situation has escalated, as Willis is now threatening legal action against Wade’s wife, Joycelyn Wade, for attempting to “harass and embarrass” her as well as “obstruct and interfere” in the election interference case by citing the affair in the couple’s divorce proceedings.

Willis’ response to the allegations, which Stu Burgiuere calls “bizarre” and “immediately defensive,” has been to claim that she and Wade just shared “a friendship” and that she “pays all of [the lawyers] equally.”

“It came out that actually [Wade] was making, I think, $250 an hour, and the guy who actually wrote the statute that they're using to go after Trump is getting paid $150 an hour,” Stu tells Glenn Beck.

When this information came out, Willis immediately went to “a black church to give a speech about racism against black women” and claimed that people “can't hold [black women] to this high standard [of perfection].”

Having an affair “is not against the law,” says Glenn, but “hiring this guy and ... paying him more than the other experts” as well as “not going through the proper channels to make sure he's vetted for that job — that is a problem.”

“This is going to be a catastrophe, and it makes you almost optimistic for Donald Trump's future,” says Stu.
