Phil Robertson: Bernie Sanders was embracing Marxism 30 years ago when he was a hippie

"In the Woods with Phil" host Phil Robertson shed light on Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and the nonsense that comes out of the mouths of Democrats.

In this clip, the "Duck Dynasty" star explained why Sanders' call for incarcerated felons to have their voting rights restored wouldn't matter anyway if the world is going to end in 12 years per the Green New Deal. Using Scripture, Robertson explained why people should ignore the illogical rantings and ravings from Democrats.

"You listen to somebody like Bernie Sanders saying how he was behind Fidel Castro in the overthrow of the democracy down there in Cuba years ago, when he was a young man he was embracing Marxism 30 years ago when he was a hippie...and then the group he's with [socialism] is talking about how everything will be gone in 10 or 12 years, unless we make a move and give them $100 trillion so they can fix it," Phil said.
