Zuhdi Jasser: July 4th should inspire Muslim reformers

The reformation of Islam must begin in the United States, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser said on this weekend's "Reform This!," because people can "do things in America that you just can't do anywhere else."

He discussed the sacrifices of the Founding Fathers that led to the American Revolution, and suggested that American Muslims can be "ambassadors for liberty abroad." America was formed in part because the faithful sought religious freedom; perhaps Muslims in oppressive nations can be inspired by their example.
