Yaron Brook: People will thrive if government leaves them alone

Every individual has the ability to be good, but people need a certain type of environment in order to thrive. If the government leaves people alone, they will work hard for themselves and create a better society, Yaron Brook explained on this week’s episode of “The Yaron Brook Show.”

“Every individual has the capacity to be moral, to be good,” Yaron noted.

Before the Enlightenment, people only thought what they were allowed to think. Atheists were burned at the stakes, and certain books were banned. But now everyone has the right to think for themselves and have different beliefs.

“It’s none of my business [what you believe],” Yaron said. “It’s none of the State’s business.”

The best thing that government can do is support the individual by protecting personal liberty and staying out of people’s lives.

“We want a political environment that rewards the best,” Yaron added.
