Are we indeed headed for another Civil War? In the wake of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, Americans are banding together immensely helping their fellow neighbor through flood ravaged homes and evacuations. Unfortunately, liberal publications like Salon and the New York Times chose to focus on the negative instead of the positive American virtues on display during the disasters.

Pat Gray discussed an article published in Salon that claimed none of the humanitarian works witnessed from the hurricane’s destruction are examples of bringing out the best in people, instead, it argues that this is just what people do during a tragedy.
