No disciplinary action for Parent Assn President who performed in drag at elementary show

Mike Opelka reported on a New York Daily News story on today's "Pure Opelka" that exemplifies "what you get when you let progressives run everything."

The May 25 public school Learning Expo in Manhattan featured a family talent show with children as young as five in attendance. There were approximately 200 families present.

Some began walking out when the Parent Association president from Public School 96, Frankie Quinones, came out in full drag for the final act of the night.

He didn't just come out dressed as a lady. He was reported to have shaken his hips and gyrated. He was then seen grinding against the stage. He even did the splits in thong underpants.

A ten year old boy in attendance who did not understand what was happening said, "I saw her doing things like sticking her legs out and shaking her bottom and it felt weird.”

Quinones is a regular act at drag clubs around the city and thought the families in attendance would be entertained.

Michael Aciman, spokeman for the Education Department, said that school officials have not at this time been disciplined for allowing this to happen. He did confirm Quinones has been told his performance was "inappropriate."
