"The sacrifice these guys make is something that can't even be put into words, and we fail them when they come back," observed Kal, adding, "The movie is amazing. These emotions we felt, it's because it was a really good movie."

"The movie was so good," agreed Doc, "But I don't think my hatred of the VA is in question. Has it ever been? And yet I thought to myself, 'Damn, I can't believe I hate the VA so much more.' The vitriol that I have spewed over the years, that's been appropriately directed at the VA, pales by comparison to what I felt in the middle of the movie."
