Is this the reason behind Kathy Griffin’s bizarre press conference?

Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey are defending comedian Kathy Griffin for her controversial photo of her holding an effigy of the bloody, severed head of President Donald Trump. On Monday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” Mike Broomhead looked at the latest updates to the story: Hollywood’s defense of the photo and Griffin’s bizarre press conference over the weekend.

"If you step out into that spotlight and you're doing the crazy things that [Trump] is doing, we're the last line of defense,” Carrey said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “And really, comedians are the last voice of truth in this whole thing."

Griffin held a press conference on Friday to explain why she was the real victim of the controversy even though she was the one who released the gruesome photo. She claimed the Trump family was “bullying” her and trying to end her career.

“That was contrived,” Mike said of the press conference, theorizing that Griffin is just trying to drag out the publicity for as long as she can.
