Does America want another celebrity president?

Former pro wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may be considering politics for his next career change. The “Fate of the Furious” actor recently told GQ that a presidential run is a “real possibility.”

“A year ago,” he told GQ, “it started coming up more and more. There was a real sense of earnestness, which made me go home and think, ‘Let me really rethink my answer and make sure I am giving an answer that is truthful and also respectful.’ I didn't want to be flippant—‘We'll have three days off for a weekend! No taxes!’”

On Thursday’s “Pat & Stu,” Stu Burguiere and Jeffy Fisher discussed whether Johnson can leverage his acting career into becoming a presidential candidate … or if another celebrity could be in the White House.

“Honestly, President Hasselhoff is really potentially just as likely,” Stu said, referencing the upcoming “Baywatch” movie with Johnson based on the TV show about attractive lifeguards that starred David Hasselhoff.

“The Fate of the Furious,” which stars Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Johnson, is one of the biggest films of all time at the box office and has passed $1 billion worldwide.
