'Without her 'Stylist' she'd be NOTHING': Trump targets Rihanna ahead of Super Bowl halftime performance

Former President Donald Trump targeted superstar singer Rihanna on Thursday, asserting that she lacks talent.

"Without her 'Stylist' she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Rihanna is slated to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.

Trump's attack came in response to comments from GOP Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas, who suggested that Rihanna should not be performing at the Super Bowl.

"Rihanna spray painted 'F*** Donald Trump' on a car at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. She's made a career of spewing degenerate filth while badmouthing America every chance she gets. Why is the NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna SHOULD NOT be the halftime performer!!" Jackson wrote.

In August 2020 Rihanna posted a photo of what appeared to be a spray-painted message that said "F*** Trump," though the letter "F" appeared to be backwards.

Trump, who lost his 2020 reelection bid to Democratic challenger Joe Biden, is running for another term, but he is likely to face competition as he seeks to secure the GOP nomination for a third-straight presidential election cycle.

Former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who served in that role during a portion of Trump's White House tenure, is reportedly planning to announce a presidential bid on February 15.

"Nikki has to follow her heart, not her honor. She should definitely run!" Trump said in a Truth Social post earlier this month.

"I would not run if President Trump ran," Haley said in 2021 when asked if a Trump presidential run would preclude her from running — she went on to say that the issue is one they would discuss if that choice needed to be made.
