People pounce on Planned Parenthood for claiming 'virginity is a social construct'

Planned Parenthood has claimed that the notion of virginity stems from harmful "patriarchal" mindsets.

"The idea of virginity comes from outdated — let's be real, patriarchal— ways of thinking that hurts everyone," Planned Parenthood tweeted. The organization's post also featured a message declaring, "Virginity is a social construct."

People pounced on Planned Parenthood's post.

"Planned Parenthood profits from sex. So this makes complete sense," Mary Margaret Olohan of the Daily Signal tweeted.

"'Waiting to have sex before marriage hurts everyone' says the industry that profits off of promiscuity & murdering innocent babies…" someone else wrote.

"Teenage virgins are bad for Planned Parenthood's baby-killing business," another person declared.

"The only reason planned parenthood is anti virginity is because virgins put them out of business," someone else tweeted.

In addition to promoting abortion, Planned Parenthood also pushes radical leftist gender ideology.

"When it comes to your abortion, any reason is the right reason," Planned Parenthood claimed in a tweet last month. The tweet linked to a video where an individual who receives so-called gender-affirming care from the organization said that having an abortion was one of the "best decisions" she had ever made.

The organization claimed in a tweet last month that "you and only you know how you feel about your gender identity, and you get to decide what identity fits you best. It's perfectly normal if that feeling and identity changes day-to-day or over time, so don't limit yourself to one gender if it doesn't feel right."

Planned Parenthood Action Fund endorsed President Joe Biden for re-election last week.
