Another Democratic presidential candidate joins Liz Warren's boycott of Fox News

Presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) jumped on the bandwagon of the boycott against Fox News by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Wednesday.

The Harris campaign rejected an invite to a Fox News town hall event after Warren posted a scathing statement criticizing the cable news network.

"I've done 57 media avails and 131 interviews, taking over 1,100 questions from press just since January," Warren tweeted on Tuesday.

"Fox News is welcome to come to my events just like any other outlet. But a Fox News town hall adds money to the hate-for-profit machine," she added.

"To which I say: hard pass," Warren concluded.

The statement from Harris was much less vituperative.

"They've reached out but we haven't entertained it," said the Harris campaign in a statement to freelance journalist Yashar Ali, who first reported their rejection of the Fox News town hall.

Harris and Warren are currently lagging in the polls far behind the top tier of candidates that includes Joe Biden as the front-runner and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in second place.
