Actor Jon Voight addresses America with message that will send liberal Hollywood into meltdown

'I'm here today to acknowledge the truth...'

Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight released two videos on Friday reaffirming his support for President Donald Trump, who he called "the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln."

Addressing the videos to the "people of the Republican Party," Voight praised Trump's job efforts, which he claims has been difficult, "for [Trump's] battling the left and their absurd words of destruction."

"I'm here today to acknowledge the truth, and I'm here today to tell you, my fellow Americans, that our country is stronger, safer, and with more jobs because our president has made his every move correct," Voight said.

"Don't be fooled by the political left because we are the people of this nation that is witnessing triumph," he continued. "So let us stand with our president, let us stand for this truth that President Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. God bless America, and may God continue to guide this nation."

Voight is one of Hollywood's most outspoken conservative voices. He was also one of Trump's earliest Hollywood supporters, who has continued to support the president more than two years into Trump's first term.

During an inauguration event at the Lincoln Monument in Jan. 2017, Voight said that "God answered all our prayers" with Trump's election.

"And President Lincoln, who sits here with us ... I'm sure is smiling knowing America will be saved by an honest and good man who will work for all the people, no matter their creed or color," Voight said, according to The Hill.
