Gun control activist David Hogg calls Sen. Marsha Blackburn a piece of 's***' who has 'enabled the slaughter of our children'

Gun control activist David Hogg has referred to Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee as a piece of "s***" and claimed that she has "enabled the slaughter of our children."

"Our nation needs to stand up to Communist China now more than ever," Blackburn tweeted on Monday.

"Our nation needs to stand up to pieces of s*** like you who have gotten far more kids killed in America than China ever has. There is blood on your hands," Hogg replied. "Whatever poor intern wrote this needs to understand you are complicit too in the slaughter of our children by working for Marsha. Quit," he added in another tweet.

Hogg also pounced on Tuesday after Blackburn issued an innocuous tweet that simply said, "God bless the USA."

"May God bless us by waking up the American people to nra puppets like you who have enabled the slaughter of our children," Hogg replied.

A shooter perpetrated an attack at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday, killing five and wounding others. When GOP Sen. Rick Scott of Florida noted that his friend was one of the people killed, Hogg claimed that the lawmaker was "complicit."

"My friend Tommy Elliott was killed today in Louisville. He was my banker for many years. This news is very shocking and sad for Ann and me. He did so much in the Louisville community, and we pray for his family during this awful time," Scott tweeted.

"Must be tough knowing you’re complicit," Hogg replied. In a tweet on Tuesday, he wrote, "Rick Scott as one of the most powerful people in the country has not passed a single thing in the senate to reduce gun violence. I'm sorry for your loss but is protecting easy access to weapons like the AR-15 really worth the cost?"

In a tweet on Monday, Hogg called Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas "a jack a** and an idiot."
