Garrison Brown, son of Janelle and Kody Brown of 'Sister Wives' fame, is dead

Garrison Brown, one of the six children of Janelle and Kody Brown of "Sister Wives" fame, is dead. He was just 25 years old, according to People.

"Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown," Janelle noted in a post on Instagram. "He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory."

People reported that Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II with the Flagstaff Police Department indicated that on Tuesday "Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home." According to the outlet, FPD indicated that Garrison's sibling Gabriel had "discovered Mr. Brown deceased" in an apparent suicide.

"At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating," Hernandez noted in his statement, according to the outlet.

For years, the show "Sister Wives" has given viewers a glimpse into the lives of the polygamist Brown family. At one point, patriarch Kody Brown had four women whom he claimed as wives, but three of those four relationships have ended in a split. Janelle is one of the three women who is no longer with Kody.

"Because we never were legally married, I can't really say I'm divorced," she has said, according to People. "I just say 'I'm no longer with' [him] when I explain it to outside people, I'm like, 'I'm no longer with my partner,'" she noted, according to the outlet. "I guess I just consider myself single, I don't consider myself divorced or separated or whatever. I just think I'm single."
