Dentist loses job after video shows him ripping down Hamas terror victim flyers, says they were too divisive

A Florida dentist defended his actions after he was fired from his job over a video showing him ripping down flyers of Hamas terror.

Ahmed ElKoussa told WPLG-TV that he was trying to help when he ripped down the flyers of victims who were viciously murdered in a terror attack on Israel.

“Anything inciteful is not the answer right now,” he said.

The dentist is a Muslim originally from Lebanon and said that he was trying to protect both Muslims and Jews with his actions.

ElKoussa was fired from CG Smile after the video of his action was published on social media.

“Our office CG Smile is not in favor of any of the actions taken by Dr. ElKoussa. We do not support terrorist groups, actions, or supporters. He has been removed from our staff, all of our social media pages and groups," read a statement from the dental office.

ElKoussa says it was taken out of context.

“Unfortunately, my video of four seconds got taken way out of context as well as the way my former employer had portrayed it as an act of supporting terrorism and it’s very contrary,” he explained.

“It all boils down. If you can show those posters and if anyone can help find those people then please help the people in Israel and help the people in Palestine,” he added.

ElKoussa says that he asked law enforcement for permission to take down the flyers and that they agreed. He also claims that he would have torn down flyers showing Palestinian victims as well.

ElKoussa said that he is considering legal action against his former employer.
