Country star Jason Aldean spent New Year's Eve with former President Donald Trump, and most social media users who commented on the night's photos were excited and complimentary.

Aldean shared a widely liked Instagram photo featuring him, his wife, and the 45th president of the United States of America and captioned the snap, "Well, this New Years was the best of all time. I got to spend a couple days with the G.O.A.T…… this man is unbelievable and I wish u all could see what he does behind the scenes. #classact."

Aldean celebrated the New Year's festivities at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, where he also played a round of golf with the former president.

A report from the Daily Mail noted that Trump introduced Aldean to the Mar-a-Lago crowd as "the number one singer in the world" on New Year's Eve, adding, "'Ladies and gentlemen, number one in the world. Number one in our country. Mr. Jason Aldean. ... We love you, man."

Aldean, 44, then walked onto the stage and performed for Trump and his guests at the lavish party to usher in 2022 after telling the crowd, "Well, that's probably the best introduction I've ever had."

"We actually played golf yesterday," he continued. "I didn't think he'd let me in after our round yesterday, but thank you!"

Elsewhere in his post, Aldean shared a brief video of the two playing golf.

"Perfect, you're so good," Trump can be heard saying as he directs Aldean's lineup and swing.
