Chris Pratt says ‘God heals a broken heart’ after marriage to Katherine Schwarzenegger

'God is good'

Actor Chris Pratt has spoken out about his marriage to Katherine Schwarzenegger, saying that "God heals a broken heart."

This is Pratt's second marriage.

Pratt, an outspoken Christian entertainer, was married to fellow thespian Anna Faris from 2009 to 2018. The pair have a 6-year-old son, Jack.

What are the details?

Pratt married Schwarzenegger, 29, in a private ceremony Saturday.

The two went public with their relationship in 2018.

"Hey, God is good," the 39-year-old actor told Jay Glazer in an Instagram story on the NFL insider's page, Fox News reported.

Pratt went on to place his hand over his heart — wedding band in plain sight — and added, "God heals a broken heart."

Pratt also gushed about his new bride on Instagram after their wedding, sharing a photo of the two lovingly gazing at one another.

He captioned the intimate snap, "Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives."

"We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit," he added. "This morning we feel nothing but blessed."

The couple announced their engagement in January via Instagram post.

Just a month before their nuptials, Schwarzenegger — who is also a devout Christian, and whose parents are former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver — expressed her love for Pratt to Fox News.

"I think anyone who finds the person that they get to spend the rest of their life with … it's a huge gift and a huge blessing, so I feel really lucky," she explained.
