Boebert says, 'Real men aren't women,' then dunks on Kinzinger after his response

When former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois took issue with Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado tweeting that "Real men aren't women," the congresswoman took the opportunity to dunk on the former congressman.

"I'm retweeting this for one reason. At around 6:30 central time, Lauren decided to tweet this. Why?" Kinzinger wrote in response to Boebert's tweet. "To anger, stir the pot, offend, and give people a dopamine hit. And raise money. No serious mature debate, just debasing of the whole profession. Twitter isn't real life."

"Don't worry Adam, I don’t consider you a real man," Boebert replied.

Kinzinger responded with a gif that showed one cartoon character poking another character in the nose.

Boebert posted the "Real men aren't women" tweet on Wednesday, which was International Women's Day. "Happy International Women’s Day to all the lovely ladies and not to the boys playing dress up!" she had also tweeted on Wednesday.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the absurd claim that "trans women are women" in a statement marking International Women's Day.

First lady Jill Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken participated in the International Women of Courage Awards ceremony at the White House on Wednesday, where one of the people honored was a transgender woman from Argentina.

Kinzinger, who was also one of the 10 House Republicans who voted in favor of impeaching then-President Donald Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, was also one of the two Republican lawmakers who served on the House select committee that was supposed to investigate the Jan. 6 episode. Former Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, who also voted in favor of impeaching Trump after the Capitol riot, was the other GOP lawmaker who served on the committee.

Boebert has accused Kinzinger and Cheney of being liars and traitors.

"@AdamKinzinger and @Liz_Cheney knew the truth about January 6th all along and LIED to the American people. They are shills for extreme liberals! Many of us have received violent threats because of their lies," Boebert has claimed. "Even worse, we have American citizens still imprisoned simply because two fake Republicans refused to expose the Democrats. They've assisted in Nancy Pelosi’s propaganda and destroyed people's lives. They are TRAITORS of the highest order!" she tweeted.
