Republican Sen. Roger Marshall of Kansas is proposing a bill to largely prohibit featuring flags other than the U.S. flag on federal property and buildings, according to Fox News Digital.

The outlet reported that the measure would allow for various exceptions, such as for the flag of a visiting diplomat's country and the flag of a lawmaker's state.

"It’s a sad state of affairs when the White House prioritizes their radical social agenda over patriotism," the senator said, according to Fox News Digital. "The American flag stands for liberty and justice for ALL and should never be undermined by anyone, especially the President of the United States."

"Old Glory must reign supreme as a symbol of our nation’s freedom that thousands of our servicemembers, and veterans have fought and died to protect," he noted, according to the outlet. "The One Flag For All Act ensures that the American Flag never gets sidelined for culture wars and political points and remains the sole symbol of our nation's freedom and sacrifices."

The White House recently earned criticism for prominently displaying a pro-LGBT flag on the White House with American flags hanging on either side.

In a tweet, Marshall described the move as a "disgrace."

BlazeTV host Chad Prather blasted the move. "This is DISGRACEFUL. Why is the AMERICAN flag surrounding the pride flag?? This nonsense has to end!!!" he tweeted.

GOP Rep. Chip Roy of Texas also decried the White House's move, saying of the American flag, people "have died for that flag. And they put that flag up to the side, flanking a pride flag on the front of the United States president's house. It's despicable," Roy thundered.

President Joe Biden has issued a Pride Month proclamation each year since taking office.
