After women allegedly shoplift items from nail supply store, one comes back and brazenly demands phone she left behind. Things get way worse from there.

After a pair of women allegedly shoplifted items from a nail supply store in southern California earlier this month, one of them came back to the Murrieta store and brazenly demanded her phone, which she accidentally left behind — and things soon grew worse.

The whole thing was caught on surveillance videos inside the store.

What are the details?

The owner of the Premiere Nail supply store told KTTV-TV two women entered the store Sept. 19 appearing to want to purchase supplies. But when it came time to pay, they ran out with about $600 in merchandise, the station said.

Soon one of the women returned to the store, and the owner told KTTV she demanded her phone, which she mistakenly left behind.

The owner noted to the station that he told the woman she could have her phone back if she gave back the items she stole — and video shows the woman getting violent.

First she walked up to the owner and shoved his head backward, after which he tumbled to the floor.

Then she went after the pregnant cashier, appeared to grab her phone back, and then ran from the store with the owner and cashier chasing after her.

The owner suffered scrapes and cuts on his legs, the station said, adding that police said the monetary value of the stolen items is less than the value of the phone.

What happened next?

The suspects got away in a black vehicle but were located — along with the stolen property — about a mile away from the store, police told the station. The suspects were taken into custody and booked on numerous charges, KTTV said.
