Freedom for Immigrants activists are asked if there should be open borders. The responses are scary.

PragerU's Will Witt took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles to ask protesters with the recent "Families Belong Together: Freedom for Immigrants" rally one simple question: "Should there be open borders?"

The responses Witt received said more than a little about what's driving the very vocal contingent of folks bent on bringing down President Donald Trump — or at least standing in the way of his agenda.

"Hitler was trying to put himself in place of God; that's what Trump is doing," one sign-wielding guy said.

He added that — in addition to the Nazi dictator — Mussolini, Stalin, Pol Pot, Putin, and Trump are "all birds of a feather."

When a fellow dressed up like a bee was asked if there should be open borders, he replied with an observation one might not expect from a guy dressed up like a bee, calling borders "kind of a construct, so in a sense they are open."

Another protester declared to Witt that "we do not have a democracy, for that I do not forgive Trump."

A woman sporting white hair revealed that she stopped coloring it "ever since Hillary [Clinton] got the big F U from the American people."

What happened when Witt challenged their positions?

When Witt remarked to one protester that celebrities seem to have no problem putting walls around their properties to protect themselves, she got a little tongue-tied: "True," she replied. "But if... true... OK."

And when Witt reminded the woman who stopped coloring her hair that separating illegal-immigrant children from their families at the border was happening under former President Barack Obama, she strangely came down with a sudden case of the stutters as well: "Umm ... uh ... grant.. well... I would ..."

Another protester took things a step further with Witt, acknowledging she believes the United States should give its land back to Native Americans — and that everyone else should leave "right now."
