The drama started to take shape after Durant refuted Smith’s claim that the Oklahoma City Thunder star would consider joining Los Angeles Lakers when he becomes a free agent next summer. He didn’t just deny it, he said Smith was “lying.”

Smith addressed Durant’s comments on “First Take” Monday, making it clear he’s not backing down on the issue.

“I’m looking right into the camera and I’ll say it again: You do not want to make an enemy out of me,” Smith said. “I’m not having it. I’ve done nothing wrong and I’m not going to tolerate it.”
