Pigs in a Blanket! Fry 'Em Like Bacon!': Police Protesters Caught on Video Taunting St. Louis Cops Just Hours After NYC Officers Murdered

"Aw man, it feels great!"

Just hours after two New York City police officers were gunned down while sitting in their patrol car Saturday, police protesters took to the streets in St. Louis and were videotaped taunting officers there with a phrase the NYPD cop killer reportedly used on an Instagram post prior to the murders: "I'm putting pigs in a blanket."

Specifically the small crowd chanted, "Pigs in a blanket! Fry 'em like bacon!" as officers stood in a line.

Several reports indicated that prominent activist Bassem Masri helped lead the chant. Masri has been live-streaming demonstrations in and around Ferguson, Missouri, since white police officer Darren Wilson fatally shot Michael Brown, an unarmed black 18-year-old, in August.

Masri's UStream video account contains several clips recorded Saturday night, and at least two of them contain the "Pigs in a blanket! Fry 'em like bacon!" chant. Here's one of them. (Content warning: Very rough, disturbing language with expletives):

"Aw man, it feels great!" a protester, presumably Masri, said during one clip.

Masri also posted several times on Twitter regarding the shooting of the New York City police officers as well as the "pigs in blanket" chant:
