Are College Students Targeting a Muslim Conservative for What He Wrote in a Student Newspaper? Watch the Security Footage

"You have no soul."

University of Michigan junior Omar Mahmood is something of a libertarian/conservative — and he says he's being "targeted" for expressing his views.

After Mahmood, 21, wrote a column for the conservative campus newspaper the Michigan Review skewering liberal social justice buzzwords and ideas — "womyn's studies," "white privilege," etc. — he faced backlash from the student body so severe that he said he was forced to resign from the other campus newspaper for which he wrote, the Michigan Daily, the College Fix reported.

Mahmood also had his apartment door was vandalized by the agents of "tolerance," who dumped eggs, hot dogs and nasty messages outside his room in the early morning hours of Friday, the Muslim student told the College Fix.

The missives, he said, included:

You scum embarrass us.

You self-righteous d**k.

You have no soul.

Everyone hates you you violent p***k.

On Monday, the College Fix potentially brought the world one step closer to identifying the people allegedly responsible, publishing surveillance footage showing a group of women changing into baggy clothing before trashing Mahmood's apartment door.

Watch the video below:

“I feel targeted,” Mahmood told the College Fix, speaking of the vandalism. “The messages were clearly threatening. These people don’t know me personally, so I don’t know why they would do this with such vengeance. This seems like a very personal attack.”

Read Mahmood's apparently vandalism-inducing column, "Do The Left Thing," here.
