Teen Arrested for Allegedly Committing Unconscionable Act Against Retired Nun

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (AP) — An 18-year-old man is in custody after police say he beat and raped a retired nun in the parking lot of a Pennsylvania church.

Authorities say the nun was attacked Friday morning in an Aliquippa church parking lot. Police moved quickly in arresting Andrew Bullock on charges including rape and aggravated assault.

Investigators say Bullock's boots matched a footprint in the snow from the scene.

The alleged victim underwent surgery for a serious jaw injury at a Pittsburgh hospital. She's a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden.

Court records do not list an attorney for Bullock.
