Public University Reportedly Paid $24K for Sex Columnist to Deliver Graphic Speech Aimed at Launching Kinky Sex App

A public university in Oregon reportedly paid a sex columnist $24,000 to deliver an explicit speech on campus where he discussed "fisting" and gorilla-suit fetishes with students — all in an effort to launch the school's smartphone app that while advocating certain health cautiousness, also covers kinky sex and teaches students how to better pleasure their partners.

According to the University of Oregon's campus newspaper, The Register-Guard, the school only revealed the cost of Dan Savage's sexually graphic lecture after they were forced to comply with a public records request.

"With his witty, vivacious rapport and strong visual images through his casual conversation, it is clear Savage will say what is on his mind," the paper noted of his speech.

Savage's speech to about 300 students and staff was aimed at promoting the university's new "SexPositivity" smartphone app, which promises to be a "shame-free" place students can learn "safer sex practices" for performing a variety of acts, including anal sex.

"It makes no moral judgments about what forms sexuality does or does not take," says the university's website, describing the app. "Sex positivity refers to a way of thinking that embraces and promotes all forms of sexuality and consensual sexual experience, placing these values on equal footing with the choice not to engage in sexual activity."

The app features two wheels with various body parts and objects, including "penis," "mouth," vagina," "anal play," "toe" and "stuffed animal."

But while the university demo focuses on health aspects, there's also a more seedy side.

For example, males looking for sex information are provided advice on how to incorporate lubricants during intercourse and even given ways to help expand their partner's sexual horizons.

It was not immediately clear how much the University of Oregon paid to develop the app.
