The Time-Lapse Video of the New World Trade Center Building That Will Bring a Tear to Your Eye

As we pause to remember the fallen on the 12th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks, here’s a video to lift your spirits.

The video, posted to YouTube on Tuesday, shows the progression of the construction of One World Trade Center, formerly known as the Freedom Tower, from October 2004 to September 2013.

According to the video's online description, hundreds of thousands of high-definition images from the past nine years were hand-edited to create the time lapse.
