San Diego Mayor Bob Filner (D) has completed his "intensive therapy" at a behavioral counseling clinic one week ahead of schedule, Lee Burdick, the mayor's chief of staff, told 10 News.
Filner apparently started his therapy one week early, allowing him to get done faster. The mayor had plans to return to San Diego on Friday.

At least 14 women have accused Filner of sexual harassment, including two city employees and military veterans. One of the women claims the mayor put her in a sleeper hold, while others claim he tried to kiss and grope them. The accusations have since led to the moniker "filthy Filner."
On July 26, Filner announced at a press conference that he would enter a two week therapy program on August 5.
Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) joined a growing chorus of critics calling on Filner to step down and argued the mayor had "betrayed" his constituents with his behavior.
So far, Filner has made no indication he plans to resign.
