Pro-Life Hollywood Actors Speak Out in Horror Against Gosnell: 'Haunted by Image of Babies' Spinal Cords Being Clipped

"[Gosnell] is just the less sanitary version of what goes on every day...the cheapening of human life. Lord have mercy."

Pro-life actors and singers aren't a plentiful breed, as Hollywood tends to foster left-of-center views. But a few entertainers have spoken out fervently in the wake of the Dr. Kermit Gosnell case. Among them, "Wiseguy" actor Ken Wahl and Patricia Heaton of "The Middle" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." Both have been more-than-candid about their views on the horrific images and stories that have emerged during the abortion doctor's murder trial.

Last month, Wahl tweeted that he cannot wait for the legal drama to end, as he is "haunted by image of babies' spinal cords being clipped." He also took on the pro-choice movement, noting that abortion leaves no options and "choices" for the unborn. Both of these messages were certainly bold, considering their pointed nature.

On Thursday, Wahl, once again, took to Twitter to claim that he's been called racist over his views on the Gosnell trial. He wrote (grammar and spelling kept intact), "Black guy called me racist due to my stance on #Gosnell. I said,'Don't u care that the babies he killed were black!? U should, G! I do!'"

Wahl isn't alone, either. Sharing one of the videos that has come out from Live Action, a pro-life organization looking to expose illegal practices in the abortion industry, Heaton recently made her views known as well. In a tweet, she wrote,"[Gosnell] is just the less sanitary version of what goes on every day...the cheapening of human life. Lord have mercy."

Others, too, in Hollywood (though not many) have chimed in on this disturbing case. And though he has not overtly spoken about Gosnell, Scythian's Danylo Fedoryka is yet another performer (a musician) who is candidly pro-life. For a complete list of pro-life celebrities, be sure to check out TheBlaze's recent compilation as well.

These performers' views -- arguably courageous considering the industry in which they work --  are coming to light as the jury continues to deliberate in the Gosnell trial. In their fourth day of proceedings, jurors are meeting to discuss charges against both the abortion doctor and his co-defendant, Eileen O'Neill (an unlicensed doctor who worked at the clinic). TheBlaze will continue coverage on this important case (read more here).

We'll leave you with a new video from conservative comedian Steven Crowder that shows a lack of knowledge among the public about the charges against Gosnell. If you've been monitoring the story, you're likely familiar with the criticisms that have been waged against the mainstream media for being so late to the game in terms of coverage.

This, according to Crowder, is the result of that media silence:
