SNL's Fake Documentary of the U.K. Punk Rocker Who Actually Liked Margaret Thatcher Is Pretty Funny

Margaret Thatcher was a divisive figure -- except among British punk rockers. They were pretty much unified in their position: they hated her.

As one newspaper remembered this week, "there has probably never been a head of state more reviled in song" than the late former British prime minister.

Enter the fake "Ian Rubbish and the Bizzaros." Their front man, Ian Rubbish, had a different take: he actually liked her.

"We thought it was a joke -- turned out he just really liked her," one of his band mates recalled in "The History of Punk" on "Saturday Night Live."
