Levin: The American people know who's creating division, and it's not the president

Thursday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin shared the results of a Politico poll by Morning Consult released Thursday morning. The poll asked if the media or President Trump were dividing the country. Of all the voters polled, 64 percent said the national news media has done more to divide than unite the nation, while only 56 percent blamed Trump when asked the same question.

"The American people are onto this. It's not Trump calling them the enemy of the people or the fake news the enemy of the people. We see it. We hear it. We don't need anybody to tell us what's going on — we see what's going on. The president sees it too, and of course he responds to it," Levin said.

Levin called out the media for projecting their own divisiveness on the president.

"What's the media going to do about this? Nothing. They're not circumspect. They won't look in the mirror. They won't pull back on their propaganda — their demagoguery. They're not going to do it. And I'm going to prove to you how this is one of the lowest points for the American press since our founding. ... Donald Trump hasn't done anything like Hitler or Stalin. Donald Trump hasn't done anything that's racist. You have presidents who have, but Donald Trump's not one of them," Levin added.

"What does this have to do with the election? It has everything to do with the election. They're trying to dispirit you, and they're trying to invigorate the Left," Levin said.
