Levin: Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are responsible for the government shutdown

LevinTV host Mark Levin began his radio show Monday evening reacting to the latest government shutdown and border security news, reminding listeners that it is the House that is responsible for appropriating funds, not President Trump. Therefore, it is the Democrats in the House who are responsible for keeping the government shut down.

“Nancy Pelosi effectively controls the appropriation process in the House of Representatives. It falls to the House. She rules the House like Kim Jong Un,” Levin started.

“So she controls whether or not the government will be funded fully. She controls whether or not we'll get a measly 5.7 billion dollars to build barriers, among other things, in some of these gap areas on the ... border. So she’s blocking the spending. She’s blocking the wall. She is blocking everything,” he explained.
