Protests turned violent in St. Louis, Mo., following the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley in the 2011 shooting death of black suspect Lamar Smith.
More than 30 arrests were made in the protests, several police officers were injured, and there were reports of property damage (including the mayor’s home).
