VP Harris offers nonsensical, rambling answer when asked if it's time to change admin's COVID strategy

The Biden/Harris 2020 campaign vowed to wipe out the virus and bring an end to the pandemic.

And yet ...

• America saw more "COVID deaths" in 2021 than in 2020 — despite the introduction of three vaccines in late 2020.
• The Delta variant surged through the population last summer — despite the introduction of three vaccines in late 2020 — which led the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to change its definitions of "vaccination" and "vaccine" and to finally admit that the vaccines don't stop people from transmitting COVID.
• The Omicron variant has led to record numbers of cases — despite the introduction of three vaccines in late 2020 — which has led "experts," media outlets, and government officials to suddenly urge people to focus not on case counts but on hospitalizations and deaths.

In short, the Biden/Harris COVID strategy has really been something.

NBC News' Craig Melvin actually confronted Vice President Kamala Harris on "Today" Thursday morning about whether it is time to change the the administration's COVID strategy.

"Does the administration say, 'You know what, this strategy isn't working. We're going to change strategies'?" Melvin asked, citing a recent report that six former administration officials wrote an open letter pushing the admiration to change its current course.

"Is it time?" Melvin pressed.

Harris, as is her wont, offered a nonsensical, rambling reply.

"It is time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day," she prattled. "Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down."
