Mom struggled to explain life after death to her 2-year-old daughter -- so she wrote a book

Author Rebecca Crownover was inspired to write her first children’s book when her daughter was struggling to understand what had happened after her dad died.

After losing him in 2009, Crownover wanted to help their 2-year-old daughter grasp the tragedy and remain hopeful. She wrote “My Daddy Is In Heaven With Jesus” because she couldn’t find a children’s book that fulfilled that need, and it's since become a movie.
