Sixth-grade students learn about gay bars and HIV in bizarre school assignment

Sixth-grade students in a Texas middle school were sent home with a strange questionnaire which asked them to rank their "level of comfort" in different scenarios. The assignment's list of 41 scenarios asks students to rank how comfortable they are with things like "a friend invites you to a gay bar" and "your sister invites her new female-to-male transsexual boyfriend to dinner."
