Miss America gets political: Contestant bashes President Trump

Progressives never miss an opportunity to bash the president, and the Miss America pageant on Sunday night was no exception. Judges asked several contestants loaded political questions and while some managed to dodge a bullet, others fell right into the Liberal trap set forth by the judges.

“I think that the white supremacist issue, it was very obvious that it was a terrorist attack. And I think that President Donald Trump should’ve made a statement earlier addressing the fact, and in making sure all Americans feel safe in this country. That is the number one issue right now,” said Miss Texas Margana Wood.

Another contestant gave the exact opposite answer of what the judges were hoping for when asked if the president was innocent or guilty of Russian colluding.

“Right now, I'd have to say innocent because not enough information has been revealed. We are still investigating this and I think we should investigate it to its fullest extent,” said Miss Missouri Jennifer Davis.

“Virtually every question to these beauty queens was about politics,” said Pat Gray.

Onstage interviews included questions about Russian collusion, Confederate statues, the Paris Climate Accord, and whether President Trump’s statement on the violence in Charlottesville was sufficient in condemning white supremacy and violence.
