Inventor of this advanced sex robot lets ‘her’ hang out with his family
September 26, 2017
A UK dad and inventor has gone public about his family’s bizarre habit: hanging out with his sex robot, Samantha.
“My children, they say, ‘Where’s Samantha?’ so she can be at home. When we brought her in the car they really enjoyed it,” Aaron Squire told Britain’s “This Morning” earlier this month. Squire, who co-founded a website selling the dolls, spent £3,500 to invent the lifelike sex robot.
Thanks to some advanced artificial intelligence, the robot can carry on a conversation, and his wife and children say they like having her around. Samantha can switch from “family mode” to a sexual setting where she says things like “I can take many times.”
Is this what we’ve come to? Keith Malinak, Doc Thompson and Kal Elsebai discussed the strange story on Tuesday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”
Having a sex robot in the first place is one thing. "But it's part of the family now?" Doc was incredulous.
