Did Devin Nunes really do something wrong by going to the National Security Council offices?

House Intelligence Chairman, Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), is facing new calls to step aside from the committee investigating alleged Russian meddling into the 2016 election after accusations that he met with a "source" last week on White House grounds. Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy joined Dana Loesh on "Dana" tonight to discuss the latest controversy.

"I think he made a minor error which was worth apologizing over as he did, and that is that he let the Trump White House what he had learned before he let his own committee know. ... To the extent that that's an error, it's really an error in perception," McCarthy said.

He then went on to point out that worst part about the reporting was that it didn't clarify that he was not at the White House, but on the White House grounds where the National Security Council has offices. The offices hold classified information not allowed to leave the premisis, and as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Nunes would be a regular visitor.
