At 34 weeks along in her pregnancy, Ashley Moreau needed to use the bathroom -- then her water broke.
The only other person in the house at the time was her ten-year-old son, Jayden Fontenot. He ran next door to his grandmother's house, but as she was recovering from surgery, all she could do is call 911.
Jayden then helped his mother deliver his baby brother Jax, who was in the breach position, by gently pulling on his legs. He even aspirated fluids out of the newborn's nose to help him breathe.
It is thought that Moreau would have bled out and the baby perished if Jayden hadn't been so quick thinking and cool headed. Jayden was given the key to his city of Sulphur, Louisiana, in recognition of his bravery.
