Trump labeling Kim Jong Un 'Rocket Man' prompts hilarious thread of misquoted lyrics

Donald Trump labeling Kim Jong Un "Rocket Man" kicked off a series of hilarious phone calls from listeners who shared lyrics they've been misquoting for years on today's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed."

"We started on this because of Donald Trump labeling  Kim Jong Un 'Rocket Man,' which reminded me of the song, you know, 'rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone' but I always misunderstood that lyric. So, we're talking about lyrics we've misunderstood," said Pat.

Garth from Louisiana called in and shared with Pat he had been misquoting The Pledge of Allegiance in grade school.

"Good afternoon, have you guys ever heard of Richard Stands?" asked Garth. "When I was a kid I used to think, 'Wow, this Richard Stands must be some kind of great guy' because when you're a kid, you know kindergarten, first grade, you start learning a little American history about George Washington, the first president, and then you learn about Abraham Lincoln, Ben Franklin. Well, these are important guys, but I couldn't wait to learn about Richard Stands because he's in our pledge of allegiance: 'To the republic for 'Richard Stands.'"

Pat erupted in laughter and took several more calls from listeners who shared their equally amusing stories. Listen to the full episode here:
