Cows took over this British town – but that’s not the weirdest part of the story
September 14, 2017
Imagine waking up one morning to find that your town has been taken over by cows.
A 61-year-old grandmother looked out her window on a peaceful weekend morning to discover that around 40 cows were wandering through Bollington in Cheshire, England, Metro reported.
“I was in my home just having a cup of tea – just the usual things you do on a quiet Sunday morning – and I heard cows mooing,” Janis Wilson told Metro. “I looked out of the window and there were 30 or 40 cows there just standing in the street.”
On Thursday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson,” Keith Malinak shared the odd story and pointed out an unusual tidbit three paragraphs down: A surprising 74 people were killed by cows in the U.K. in a 15-year period. In comparison, just 17 people in the U.S. were reportedly killed by sharks during the same time frame. Are cows really that dangerous?
